Priyadarshini Gupta Quedou is a dedicated Educator and labor activist born on August 7, 1987, in Mauritius. Her expertise in sports and recreation is evident through her Diploma in Sports Science and Recreational Activities from the University of Mauritius. Furthering her academic credentials, Priya earned a BSc in Educational and Instructional Technologies, a Bachelor in Physical Education from the University of Pune, India, and a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from the University of Mauritius. Her advanced studies include an MBA in Educational Leadership from the Open University of Mauritius, an MA in Labor Policy and Globalization from the Global Labor University (Kassel/Berlin School of Economics), and a Masters in Regional Integration from the University of Mauritius in collaboration with COMESA. Priya's professional career has been dedicated to education, with over a decade of experience teaching Physical Education in state secondary schools in Mauritius. Currently, she serves as the Head of Department in her college, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. She serves as the President of the Physical Education and Sports Employees Union (PESEU), as well as the President of the Federation and Democratic Labor Unions (FDLU).
