Priya's professional career has been dedicated to education, with over a decade of experience teaching Physical Education in state secondary schools in Mauritius. Currently, she serves as the Head of Department in her college, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. She serves as the President of the Physical Education and Sports Employees Union (PESEU), as well as the President of the Federation and Democratic Labor Unions (FDLU). Additionally, she holds the position of Director of Gender and the Migration Desk at the Mauritius Trade Union Congress (MTUC), where she actively advocates for the rights and well-being of workers. With her extensive education, professional experience, and dedication to social justice, Priyadarshini Gupta Quedou has made significant contributions to the fields of education and labor advocacy.
