About the network…

The network’s mission and objectives

The International Training Centre of the ILO wishes to maintain contact with former participants in the training it offers.

Our participants

This network is aimed at participants in training organised by the ITC-ILO both at its Turin campus and in participants’ countries as well as online via the internet.

Since the establishment of the ITC-ILO in 1964, more than 200.000 people from nearly 200 different countries have benefited from its training and contributed to this unique quest to share expertise and knowledge.

The network’s mission

The mission of the former participants’ network is to promote knowledge and information sharing and to create a professional community made up of former participants, staff and experts at the ITC-ILO.

The network’s objectives

The former participants’ network, in the short term, aims mainly to:

  • Provide participants with an interactive and easy-to-use platform based on their needs and contributions,
  • Extend professional links between participants and the Centre,
  • Improve the assessment of the impact of ITC-ILO activities,
  • Improve the visibility of the International Training Centre of the ILO and provide information about its activities and the events it organises.

The network is seeking, in the long term, to contribute to the creation of a community by the institution and to maintain strong sustainable links between participants and the ITC-ILO.

The participants’ network

A website for former participants was launched in 2005. This platform serves as a point of information and contact for the network.

You are currently navigating the latest version of this website. In the What Services? article, you will find a description of the various benefits offered to you for being a part of the network.

The former participants’ network is run by a coordinator with the support of focal points distributed throughout the different training units of the ITC-ILO.
